Beachlands is a collaboration between London based KSR and Ian Morrison in Barbados. This team was chosen to meet a very clear and specific brief - which was to create a Capital City standard building in terms of interiors and amenities within a timeless and elegant typically Barbados exterior, using coral stone and taking full advantage of the luxurious gardens with its many fine trees.
KSR have designed many very successful London private homes and apartment buildings, including Phillimore Square, Kensington. Their varied work, both in the UK and internationally, reflects their commitment to creating buildings which are both striking, considered and always sensitive to their environment. www.ksra.co.uk
Ian Morrison has been living and working in Barbados for over 30 years and has become one of the best known architects in the Caribbean, particularly sought after for private home commissions. He has designed some of the island's most beautiful properties.
